Summer projects

Summer is the time for placing the Center in front of the community at different festivals and fairs throughout northeast Colorado. Jan Loesch, executive director, generally sets up the booth and meets the public with educational games, brochures, and conversation. Jan hopes to raise awareness both of the Center's ministries to the public but also to the W.A.I.T. training, which is abstinence training offered to junior and senior high schools.

Another summer project is to locate prayer warriors, people who would be willing to pray for the Center and its clients. The Center would especially like to locate people who would come to the Center for group prayer once a week, but also those who would like prayer requests to privately. Some of the upcoming outreach events include:

• Fort Morgan Festival in the park, July 21-23
• Phillips Co. Fair in Holyoke, July 27-28
• Washington Co Fair in Akron, August 1-4
• Oktoberfest in Brush, Sept. 22
